National Day Parade 2010

National Police Cadet Corps Contingent

The moment my OC told me i'm selected for the National Day Parade 2010, i was shocked cause i knew i'm going to sacrifice every Saturday just for the rehearsals. I've agreed to participate.

The very first internal training we had at the Home Team Academy, just for the NPCC cadets, i rushed down to HTA, with my fellow SYF and two other NDP mates.

" Singaporean kids cannot be praised " was the very first sentence Eileen Ma'am told us. That sentence motivated us to do our best to let Eileen Ma'am proud and let her praise us.

Sleeping as early as 10.30pm every Friday, to ensure there's sufficient sleep for us.

And of course, waking up as early as 5am every Saturday just to get to Choa Chu Kang, HTA.

Tough trainings went on at Nee Soon Camp, with the negative mindset " Why should I come for NDP ", we then make friends with each other within our contingent.

The PC then ended the last training at Nee Soon Camp with a sentence of motivation, " I'm very sure all of you are ready for Padang " , this motivated us a lot, really :)

Training then went on at Padang, with a air-conditioned holding area at F1 Paddock with Pizza Hut, KFC and SFI as every meal. The Old Chang Kee and ice cream really helps too.

Our first NE show, we helped each other to check our uniforms, ensuring that we are ready for NE Show 1.

Finally, the big show on 9 August 2010,

All the tough trainings are going to come to an end, so we did our best and went on singing really loud for City March.

Eileen Ma'am told us she had received compliments for NPCC contingent during the Parade, we were really happy :)

All these had come to an end, no more sacrificing for Saturday rehearsals ..

NPCC Contingent loved our Parade Marshals, CIs, HOs, FIs and finally our Contingent Commander :)

20th January 2010

Secondary 3s, including me set off for Eco Farm, Malaysia for a 3 days, 2 night camp.

Slept during the long bus ride, shiok seh~

Arrived at Eco Farm campsite during noon, camp instructors/coordinator spoke to us about certain things.

Pitched the tent, and bunked our stuffs in.

I dont know what else to say ~

21st January 2010

Wash up and went for our activities.

Took a bus to somewhere near Mt. Gunung Lambak , and conquered the mountain. Of course, there is some injury along the way. But, the best thing is ; Everyone encouraged each other , motivated each other with sentences like ' There's icy cold water given to you once you reach the top !' , ' There's Mcdonalds up there ! - Mr Teo '

Reached and rest for awhile, took class photos, and all of us went down the mountain!

Going down is even more difficult then going up, cause you cant see the small steps.

Ate lunch and went back to the campsite.

Prepared and went off for the water obstacles, activities.

Started with water obstacles, out of 5 obstacles, i fell down for 3 obstacles, epic fail man!

And, the worst weather came, it started raining.

Took the time to prepare for our class performance.

Went for our water rafting after it stopped raining, i freaking chose the wrong partner ! LOL.

Played for 20mins and went on shore.

We were given time to bathe, for our campfire at night.

Campfire!

Enjoyed the other classes performance, and it was time for us to perform.

We were trying our best to shout though we have no more voice due to the preparation and challenging other classes ! LOL.

Marlina was the best, trying to motivate us to do our best.

After the campfire, washed up and went to our tents and rest.

22nd January 2010 ( Last Day )

Washed up and went to the foyer.

Instructors briefed us on certain things for the area cleaning/packing.

Kept the tents in the tent bags and returned it to the campsite's store.

And 3 classes, including my class went for our CIP.

~ I dont know how to describe ~

Went back to the campsite for our inter-class-telematch.

We did not play captain's ball because the camp instructors was scared it might rain.

So we played stuffs like guessing etc,

Announcement on the champion class of the whole camp!

And.. my class won !

3I1 is the champion, 3I1 is the king, 3I1 has the power to do everything, OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE.

Okay, it's time to blog.

Had CCA Display training on the Wednesday,

We first practiced on Basic and moved on to Baton.

After that, we did Fancy Drills practices , it was kinda difficult to follow with the song and the speed.

Halfway through, i was feeling unwell. So, i requested for a short rest.

Ma'am Netti came to ask me if im alright, and asked me to drink more water.

After like 5 minutes, i falled in.

Its so difficult to continue after that rest.

We were dismissed at around 7pm.

Tampines Mart with Justin, Syafiq and Irfan after training.

And, Justin accompanied me and Irfan to the bus stop. Jokes along the way, hahah!

Took Service 12 with Irfan, and changed to Service 16 along the way.

Recently, stayed up at night to talk with Heather , about NPCC stuffs and many more.

Our conversation was really long, it's like full 2 hours non-stop,  haha!

Heather sehh~ haha!

Dang, Fancy Drills training will be continued on the 28th and 30th December.

My Nokia 5800 Express Music just arrived (L)

And,  the delivery staff just shocked me :P

Actually, it requires my dad's Identification Card to verify, as my dad was not around, the staff told me to call my dad to ask him for the Date Of Issue.

Lucky lucky :P

Didn't update recently due to addictive Sudden Attack's gaming, hahas.

And, TapTap on my sister's iPhone is just too challenging , i perspired alot while playing it. haha.

Went out with my siblings to Siglap, to Haagen-Dazs, wanted to go Gelare initally, but found out it had closed down :(

The ice-cream there is superb, especially the Strawberry Sobert :D I'm still craving for it now, hahas (:

I'm waiting for my new phone.
